thanks ari .glad you like it ..my wife thinks i'm crazy says she won't ride in it but hoping once it's done she'll change her mind .not too much in the welland ont.area for kits or customs...any way heres how i started..made sub frame first to reinforce frame then took all interior out then front glass .then back window and yes they do come out in 1 piece just use patcience..then remove body panels and cut roof off back lower and center sun roof area .remove aprox 3" from rear sides then relief upper inner so as to open lowers to meet back up with sides.then weld back together .cut upper windshield frame and both lower edges cut ot a triangle area then fold back until meets the rear section remove overlap area and weld this back together.reinstall panel and this is where i'm at now trying yo fit then back on ...trying to work with 1/4 windows or sail panels right now tried to cut but it just shattered like saftey glass think i'm going to use anti-scartch plex in place ...thanks agian hope not too long

I take it you lost 3" of headroom in the process? That would kill me, being 6'2 and a fairly tight fit to begin with.

RJONES: WOW Great job, I have seen the chop top on the fastback but never on the notchback. A buddy of mine chopped a 1974 dodge van almost a foot and painted it silver, This thing looks like a tank. I cant wait to see your finished project, What color are you thinking of painting it?

                  Trevor,

RJONES, you have nothing to be sorry about... I've been on the Pennock's form for over two years now and I noticed that there are a few people there that wouldn't like your car even if it was made out off 24 carrot gold... It doesn't matter if it's 5" or 3"... You did a chop top on your own and I think that is great, because allot of people can not even dream about doing a project like yours...

As I said before very, VERY cool! I wouldn't fit in it though, as I'm about 6"2ish... nevertheless, really makes the car look more like a supercar :P
