  • Aerodynamic mirrors from junk yard?

Anyone know of any mirrors which are 355-like which can be obtained from a junk yard? The mirrors from my kit are pretty crappy, and I'm thinking a pair of similar looking break-away ones from another car will just be fine. Any ideas?

The new model corvettes have a mirror similar to the 355, you might not find one in a junkyard ,maybe at a big city salvage yard. You might want to call a corvette dealer to see what they cost new, might be surprised.I saw a mistsubishi 3000gt the other day , it had mirrors that looked good too. hope this helps

I've got a set of REAL 355 mirrors for sale. Unpainted and ready to go.

When you've GOT to have the very best

I also have a set of Mirage 355 mirrors for sale.

I'm looking for snap-away ones, which knocks out the mirage, which cost under $200, that knocks away the real 355 ones.
I'll call up the gm dealer about corvette mirrors - can't get mitsubishi parts here in Canada easily though (Yet... Mistsubishi is opening up their first Canadian Dealerships in 2003)

Ari, I have a set like yours, their finished, but took alot of work. My suggestion would be finding a Honda Del Sol. The mirrors are shaft mounted so that you won't have to build a metal triangle mount in the door, rather, just mount the rotational shaft. Another thought is to check into motorcycle mirrors!!! Some of them have rubber flex coverings.

Ari, heads up on the Mitsu mirrors in Canada. Dodge sold the Stealth for a few years. Should be the same mirrors. Just a thought.
