  • Paddle Shift Ready GM Transmission????

Does anyone know of an automatic transmission that is paddle shift ready and bolts up to a SC 3800 (Series II) engine? I'm picking up my engine on Friday and I'm now looking for the best transmission to bolt up to it before dropping it into my Fiero frame.

I know that many of the newer transmissions are electronic shift and use steering wheel buttons or paddle shifters which I'd like to adapt for my car if possible.

    Thanks,

    Chris

Re: Paddle Shift Ready GM Transmission????

I know that pontiac later came out with the tapshift option in 2004 and up which would be the series 3 transmissions, im sure there is alot of info over at pennocks, or you could go the mastershift route (mastershift.com) which also works with the 4t65e-hd tranny that comes with the series 2 supercharged engine, this is the route that I took as I bought the engine, tranny, pcm etc. together out of a 2002 gtp...
