  • Adjustable springs

OK, probably the most stupid question I have asked, but my mind has gone blank..
If I want to lower one/both side(s) of my car, do I tighten the spring on a coil over or loosen it?

    Regards
    Nick

      Re: Adjustable springs

For most coil-overs that have the adjustable spring perch on the bottom you loosen it. This moves the bottom of the spring down which will lower the car.

To find out, jack up the car (this makes it easier to turn the perch) and use a marker pen and make a mark above and below the perch. Now turn the perch half a turn and see what happens.
