K, here come the pics. Sorry had to white out some things as the pics were taken from previous owners location. As you can see, the door window frames need to be redone. The rest of the body is extremely accurate. Enjoy my friends and let me know what you think?

Looks like a fair basis for a project. Depends on how accurate you want to be. Just sent you a PM, and while I may be able to help you with some parts, other people have stuff available too, so ask around!

          Looks good Allen

Hope you don't mind being noticed! That car should certainly raise a few eyebrows going down the road. Does it have an authentic interior?

            Allan,

It's FANTASTIC, I dream of such a car !!! But in France, it is very difficult to find such a car.
A superb base for a nice car.

            Congratulation.

Nice to see a resurgence in countach replicas

Many years ago I passed on a Mint completed countach replica for $7500, I should have bought it

Thank you kindly my friends for all the dazzling comments! LOL Sean, "don't mind being noticed" is one way to put it. O.M.G!!!, the attention that she generates is phenominal!! I took her out to get some gas and as soon as I pulled out, one neighbor stood in his tracks staring and whipped out his phone camera to take pictures. Several other neighbors just stood there with their eyes wide open and jaws dropped. 18wheelers and cars next to me slowed down to see who was driving and of course, yet again taking pictures. When I got to the gas station, some pretty mexican lady approached me and asked what kind of car it was. Can't really go anywhere with this exotic and NOT get attention.

Yes Sean, it does have an interior similar to the original. I'm going to make it look more accurate than what it currently looks like, even though it still looks very good overall.

Yes Christophe, it really is a dream come true for me! Sometimes I have to think to myself, I can't believe I finally own my dream car!! Just don't give up on your dreams and keep on working hard to make those dreams come true.

Here are some pics of the Ferrari 308 I used to own. I really enjoyed working on it and putting in some grease monkey wrench time whenever possible.
Note the original OEM Ferrari Cromodora rims installed, which is really rare on any 308 replica.

Thanks for the pics Allen. The cars look nice. You must be a fan of red! The OEM wheels on the 308 really make the car.

What's going to be your first project on the Countach?

You're welcome Sean. When I acquired the cars, they just happen to be already red so I kept the same colors. Red is very popular for Ferrari and Lamborghini.
I'm currently working on the interior. I recently acquired a nice original OEM Countach steering wheel with the center pad. I need the center pad button with the bull logo. Also looking for the 2 Disegno Bertone emblems for the sides and the 5000 Quattrovalvole emblem for the rear. If anyone has these, please send me a PM.

                            Hi

I thought the writing on the side badges was raised on BERTONE part?

I think you're right mate. The one shown in the OP post I believe is the Ferrari 208/308 etc equivalent. One of the 'F car' boys will put me straight.

Here is the correct 'disegno BERTONE' badge for a Countach (copyright J and J concepts etc, etc...):

Are they bespoke to the Countach? I don't know, as these type of badges appear on multiple Bertone cars... (hint: search for 'disegno BERTONE') depends on your level of detail obsessiveness, I guess...

And here is the 'QV' badge:

Thank you kindly for the suggestions friends. Paul, I too happen to be one of those "F boys". It depends on which model 208/308. For the Ferrari 208/308 Dino GT4, then the raised letter bertone emblem would be correct. The pic you posted from lambostuff even verifies that it is a for 308 GT4 as quoted below from that webpage.

                                Plate Designo Bertone

                                Part Number: 006111447
                                Product Description

Dino 308 Gt4 Plate. This is an original Lamborhigni part, however it is not like the early model badges that have a clear acrylic coating. The early model badges are no longer avail this is the replacment part number.
                                Italian Description

                                TARGH.DINO 308 GT4 /C

They even state that it is not the same as the original Lamborghini issued Bertone emblems which have the clear acrylic coating, and is no longer available, so the raised letter version is a replacement part. For the Ferrari 208/308 GTB/GTS, they don't use these emblems, as the car was designed by Pininfarina, and used the Disegno Di Pininfarina emblems. I know this cause I used to own a 308 replica and studied it extensively and you can see this same emblem on the 308 side pic I posted in this same thread earlier.
