  • 3D modeling

I have been learning to 3d model the last year in my free time. I got laid off from the coronavirus. Watching the kid and nobody is driving getting into wrecks. Here is my door I have been learning to do.

    NOW WITH PICS!!

What program are you using? Is there a tutorial included?

Do you mean Fusion 360 maybe?

        Didn't know there was a 260...but I have seen the 360.

        Either way...thanks for the response.

Hope you get the pic posting figured out, would like to see what you've worked on with it, no matter the version!

I don't do Facebook but before I retired I did do 3D modeling. A lot of people who use 360 say that it really bogs down if you get a lot of parts in your assembly.

I doubt you'll have that trouble unless you try to Model an entire car, bolt by bolt.

We were using Revit and it has the same problem with large assemblies, particularly if you're trying to run remote desktop from home.

By the way I joined Facebook about 10 years ago and I made a mistake on my original account. I tried to delete it and they wouldn't let me.

Eventually enough people complained and they changed the rules.

So I deleted my account immediately even though I had virtually never used it.

Thanks for the confirmation. I'll have to look at it again, and see if I can actually try to understand the tutorial.
Tried clicking your FB link...says page doesn't exist..."Page Not Found"..?

Thanks Ulu that's useful info, but I doubt I'll be able to get enough of a handle on using it, that I would get much past doing a fender...let alone every nut/bolt/screw in an entire vehicle!LOL

I'd just like to be able to create files that a basic 3D printer can use to make some smaller parts.

Yeah I don't have a shop anymore. I use to keep it up just for people to look but I kept getting inquiries about restos. I think you can google royalworks and some stuff will come up.

Very nice work. Would you recommend any good tutorials out there? For a beginner with zero experience like myself.
