Kitcarnut: Drain it and run down to your GM store. Buy 3 litres of GM Syncromesh fluid(it's cheaper in Canada than in the States). If you're in a big city, phone a couple of GM shops, they vary in price. I believe the Isuzu takes just under 3 litres. Big difference in shifting compared to GM's original recommendation of 5-30 motor oil!!!! Check level through Speed Sensor, careful, don't lose the plastic gear when removing.
