    What kind of problems are you having regarding the fitment of the windshield? I am at that stage as well and would like to get it put to bed.

    OK, I have given up on trying to use a real 355 top, THey are very complex and without cutting a lot of car away it is nearly impossible, on top of the complexity, it is about 2 inches too narrow, really curved on the header part.

    SO, if anyone wants to take up this challeneg, I am selling it for what I paid for it

    $ 1000

    This is the complete mechnism ( no power motors ) and the canvas that covers it. any questions maile me

    If it's the same quality as the interior it would be great.

    Well then, we have 355lover, Need4spd & Mapics working on something. I hope a workable solution will soon come to light, as everyone can tell by the size of this thread, the demand is definitely there.

    Hay, lambo 1 thanks for the link to the website I called them and got a lot of info. Now I am that much closer to finishing my design for that top. I have all of the metal and parts to complete the top so I will be posting pics very soon (best thing is that its so easy that youll be kicking your self in the butt for not thinking of it your self). Well once I get the stupid window rolled up so I can do the measurements to cut the metal and start connecting everything.

    Ok, I am ready to design a top from scratch for our wonderful world of Spyder’s. Does anyone out there use any good top latch levers etc? I plan to make the header, ribs and folding frame parts but lack a good source of information on the latching mechanism.

    That's a hell of a good job for a home made one off interior.
    What type of poster board did you use? You're not talking about cardboard are you?
    And what about the door panels? Did you make those too?
    If you could share just a few insights on how you did all that I would be most appreciative.

    TEW:

    I made the interior myself out of poster board, aluminum and wood to get the shapes correct. The vents are OEM Ferrari, the gauges VDO. I had it upholstered by Mr. Mike of Sarasota, Florida. I used his seats as well. The fit is good and the workmanship is great. There are a few people on this site selling replica interiors that you may want to look into. They are relatively inexpensive at about 2K for the entire interior uncovered, without seats. As for the bracing, yes, see "Going Topless" for pics.
