Re: Another reason not to buy from tony sousa!
Hopefully the rust hasn't penetrated though the frame if it's just on the exterior then sanding priming and painting is all you would have to do. Time comsuming but not to hard.
Looks like you need a new boot for you CV axle.www.xvelocity.com

You are not the only person to purchase a 15 year old
Fiero and find rust .. a guy down south has the same
experience .. Honestly did you expect him to replace
all the parts and provide you with a new Fiero? I think
not .. its not pretty but you have to expect some
crap in a 15 year old car .. its part of the Kit Car build
to replace rubber, brake lines, brakes, calipers, etc.
Been there done that...Visit My KitCarOnLine Blog<br />http://www.kitcaronline.ca and Links Site at http://www.kitcars.ca

Re: Another reason not to buy from tony sousa!
I think the point is that the car was "represented" to have been in good working condition. Things like this rust pool were "implied" to be NOT present.
There IS a difference between a $5000 Fiero and a $400 fiero. Apparently, the RUST is the difference!
Of course, Ari, if you plan on doing a Held a-arm swap to get the proper track width, much of that will go away in the replacement. New poly should go on anyway...
Not that it makes it OK, it's just a way back to safety
