  • Cup Holders (aka Roll Enzo Roll)

My plan is to use my AD 355 as a daily driver. After all, what is a car worth that is not driven? In order to do this, I am going to need what the Europeans call, the unthinkable.....cup holders. Now, the only true cup holder for a real Ferrari is the high maintenance, long haired, miniskirted eye candy in the passanger seat. Although I probably could find someone on Craig's List to do this job, it is just not pratical. I will be using the SI Interior and am looking for a place and a way to install a cup holder. My first thought was to put something into the glove box. Now, I am thinking of something built in. I found a couple of built in designs. Does anyone have any ideas, thoughts or humerous remarks?

That is a great idea!!! I am sure that I have a couple of optical tray loaders laying around somewhere.

And this goes along with my motto, "For every simple problem, there is an over engineered solution."

just remember that a PC drive will have 12V and 5V power so i just hope it uses 12v to power the drive motor

Nothing a 5V regulator and a heat sink from Radio Shack won't fix.

I have a 12v and 5v power supply for the computer already. I will just run power from it.

The BMW cup holds were created in a vacuum of engineering. (aka they really suck) My moms BMW mechanic (Dinan) said that once they break, don't do anything because there is no good replacement for them. The cup holder in my Subaru 2.5 RS looks good. I might head out to the junk yard and see what I can find.
