What a handsome looking bunch of guys on that cake! ;D And Dave, when they can get you near a computer to read this, you are looking pretty good yourself considering what you went through.
I am very pleased with this update this morning and I thank the guys who went to the trouble to get the cake, deliver it and keep us updated.
And the joke is,
when he awoke his,
body was covered in Coke fizz !
Awesome job guys.. It's great to see a picture of Dave in good health after what he has been through..
After my car accident wich caused me to spend two weeks in a coma and a couple of months in physical and mental rehab in the hospital and know what he is going through at this point.. It's not easy..
Being stuck in the hospital is like being in jail and all you want to do is get out and go home..
I am praying for Dave to heal quickly and get back home asap..

That is what Dave said yesterday. It's like being in jail
Thanks very much to Sean and Ari for putting this together for us. After almost 10 years of being on this forum, I am still humbled by the connections, generousity and friendships that can be formed through a virtual meeting place such as this.
Linda and I are very thankful that Dave is doing so well and well on his way to recovery. He will be back into the car game soon.
I hope everyone has a safe and relaxing holiday as my family and I are out for a destination Xmas in the morning.
Awesome Update and I can't believe how well the cake turned out!! -- Great Job Guys! Thanks for the update -- we miss you Dave!! Merry Christmas to All ! ------Benny
When I went to see Dave yesterday. He pointed out cards that some of the folk's on the forum sent. He was particularly fond of the ones that included a kit car in the photo. He said to say hello to everyone for him.
His eye sight is still foggy and it will still be some time before he will be back on line. He will be able to go home for Christmas for about 5 hours. Robin and I will be there as well. I'll bring my camera!
